The first project that I worked on in FutureLighthouse was an ‘escape room’ kind of VR experience, based on ‘El Ministerio del Tiempo’ Spanish TV series. It was challenging because we were only 4 artists and we had 3 months to finish it.
My job consisted of, first of all, scanning two of the TV series’ sets using photogrammetry. Then making the scan ready for other artists to use it as a texture and modeling base. I was responsible also for making the retopology of the walls and the floor of each room and cleaning the projected scan textures. And finally, I had to create some of the environment props that were not scanned.
